In between helmet sizes?

Anyone ever have a problem with your toddler being in between helmet sizes (even with the adjustable back)?

Are we the only one with this problem? The infant helmet that Kathy Schubert got her was awesome but her forehead is totally unprotected now but the two helmets( one given and one bought) which i think are the next size up are too big and fall over her eyes....

Have you tried adding extra padding to the bigger helmet?
