Permalink Reply by Lisa Curcio 6.5 mi on November 24, 2012 at 10:48am Why, Bob? There must be a reason! Can we help? The first step toward correcting a problem is admitting that there is a problem. ;-)
Permalink Reply by Bob on November 24, 2012 at 11:13am there's not going be twelve steps and religion involved will there???? honestly, was just a bit burnt out at work. i also rode up to waukegan for thanksgiving dinner so i at least put in some miles to make up for me driving in to work the following day.
Permalink Reply by h' 1.0 on November 24, 2012 at 10:29pm I just want to note that I was going to take the bus to work today (as justified by trying to shake a stubborn cold) but this thread motivated me to ride both ways.
Permalink Reply by Lisa Curcio 6.5 mi on November 25, 2012 at 7:13am Bob, you are vindicated! Howard, probably felt better warm in your layers and not surrounded by others with stubborn colds. ;-)

Permalink Reply by Bob on November 25, 2012 at 2:22pm i wonder if i could draw a confessional booth around this post? to keep things a little more anonymous and yet still be able to serve our penance?
Permalink Reply by kiltedcelt on November 25, 2012 at 10:37pm I drove the first two days of my work week for the simple reason that I was a lazy bastard and went to bed late, got up late, and didn't feel like riding. Oh yeah, and all my cycling clothes were dirty because I didn't wash them on my weekend (hate wearing dirty cycling shorts - a severe case of crotch-rot will change your perspective on dirty shorts - TMI?), oh yeah, and I had nothing to eat for breakfast so it was easier to drive and stop at Dunkin Donuts. So, how's that sound for some serious justification?
Permalink Reply by Bob on November 26, 2012 at 4:48pm i can totally relate to coffee sometimes deterring me from riding!,,,not an excuse,,,just a weakness.
