So, Chainlinkers, hot enough for ya? Har har har.

Can't decide if the wind is ameliorating things or making it worse. Seriously this is like the worst day and anyone who walks out of work and throws their bike on a bus without a second thought is forgiven in advance.

It's been hotter and I have to admit I would rather be soaked with rain instead of sweat, but I will continue to ride as it's better than being crammed on a train with 100 other sweaty hot humans.

This morning was actually very nice.  It was hot this afternoon, but I tried the bus once when it was hot--riding is better.  I go slow anyway.

That west wind is HOT.

Maybe some rain for tomorrow morning, Melanie :-).

99 degrees at 7 p.m. riding down Damen to go home.  Just did an errand...seems like at least 90 at 11 pm?!  Stay hydrated!

Well, I put on my rear fender this morning for my commute. I'm so glad I did, since there were so many puddles on the way to work.

Sloppy, but quiet, out there on the Lakefront this morning. If it weren't so hot & humid, it would almost be great out there.

Only road to Chicago this morning, but seemed that I was passed by the usual suspects :-)

Hi Lisa! I think I passed you! I recently discovered the showers at work and now I ride a little harder in the mornings than I used to.

Yeah, its been pretty hot. I've been riding every day. This morning, even though it was in the 70's seemed almost as bad as last night - it was crazy humid this morning.

My problem is not being motivated to ride, but being motivated to wrench. The shifter cable on my three speed has been busted for about a week now and I just can't bring myself to start working on it - even though the basement bike shop is a lot cooler than the 2nd floor apartment.

Hi Lizzy.  If you were riding between Addison and Chicago between 7:20 and 7:50 you probably did pass me--everyone does!  And although I always won the spelling bees in grammar school I still wrote "road" instead of "rode".  Good thing there are no nuns around.

Shot 6761, Gene's just playing around with the mote in God's eye again?
