Riding down to the bike swap today- We will have to drag the trailer out as we may just buy too much to haul home in a bag or pannier. Might be a little chilly, but should be fun & I hope to see some of you there.

I will be bringing my trailer too.  I hope the trailer doesn't cause an issue with the bike valet.

Bike Swap was a ton of fun!  Met some new friends, old friends and missed a few people.  Schwartzkopff did a punk job running the show for Active Trans.  The vendors I spoke to, had very positive feedback.  Patrons were happily buying.  The volunteer forces were amazing, including the Racketeers's.

Nice to meet ChicAgo's bike driving community first hand.

i've been holed up in the house for the last few Crazy Warm Days since my son's been ill, finally managed to get out and pick up some groceries and god damn it went all cold again

I managed 30 or so miles today, in several short stages.  I could do without snowflakes in my eyes.  Still, it is amazing and wonderful how few days this winter I was unable to ride.

Sunday Mornings are the best time on the streets, light traffic, fast and smooth.  P.M. was nudie eye city.  Which shows much more hardheaded than hardcore.  Hardcore would have safeties.  Wingnut, that's the subgroup I best fit into.

Quiet ride this afternoon with very little traffic. Little or no wind and smooth sailing.

Good to be back on it after being out of circulation all week due to a cold.

After a week of strong winds that always seem to be a headwind. I had a nice ride home tonight with

a 11 mph headwind. Not bad, And light snow,

Some pics I took next to Finkl Steel from Kingsbury

Monday was a good day to commute from the north side with a tailwind each way. The only downside was when I spilled on black ice this morning at the Oak Street curve. No harm to self or bike, thankfully.

The trail was dry this evening.
