Today my 'bike riding' existed solely of test riding a Civia Halsted at J.C. Lind. Man, what a great bike. Finally a cargobike that rides smoothly. I am sorely tempted.

I ended up taking studly, but it was totally unnecessary as the wetness was way above freezing.
Riding on studs puts me in a bad mood . . .

Permalink Reply by Morgan 6 mi on February 21, 2012 at 10:10pm I have been getting complacent with this excellent, mild winter. The usual ride from Addison/Damen to the loop has gotten mundane.
Lately, I have switched it up and jogged in and out. It is giving me a little different perspective on the ride. I am not getting excited about the next ride.

Today I had an awesome commute because I took some time over the weekend to fix my rubbing rear fender, unstick my notchy headset, tighten my loose saddle (don't ask) and inflate my tires back up to 100 psi. It was like riding a new bike.
Oh and apparently it was Late 80's Red Schwinn day:
