Last week, Honda (yup, that Honda) announced the sale of a bicycle simulator, to help with traffic safety education as it pertains to bikes. I thought it looked interesting, though perhaps a technology that will constantly be in search of a good home.

Does anything like this already exist?

......why?

Presumably to teach people how to ride with traffic, but prior to exposing them to actual traffic. Much like driving simulators.
If this thing teaches poeple who do not know how to ride a bicycle, how to ride a bicycle, honda will be selling bicycles.(maybe)

The article seems to imply that it's for teenagers/kids and the elderly to get practice riding and coping with traffic before doing it for real.
