Helping Kathy Schubert Raise Money for a Bike Ride

Many of you here know Kathy Schubert.   You have probably seen her riding around with one of her schnauzers dogs (both have since past).

She has been the quintessential volunteer and giver at bike events and charities i Chicago for years.

Next month she is doing a ride that raises money for both the environment and Jewish-Muslim co-existence called The Israel Ride.

I participated back in 2006 and 2007 and the ride and experience totally changed my life.  For one, it got me into biking.  It also introduced me to the beauty of what can get accomplished when people from different backgrounds, nationalities, and religions come together to work on improving the environment.
