Thanks, I also read some positive online reviews...I'm sold...as in I just ordered a set in lime green. I got a dual compound for the rear to aid in longevity...yeah, I do a little skidding.. I'm a sucker for instant gratification so I had to get at least 3 day shipping; hopefully I can roll on these for mass next fri.

I've had a pair on my bike since November. They're heavy, but very durable under normal riding conditions. The dual compound on the rear is very important if you plan on skidding. My only real complaint is that because the sidewalls aren't too supple, you need to run them at pretty high pressures for predictable handling.
Zero flats over about 2000km.

They are on my commuter bike. Well worth every penny. Very good at solid skidding if need be. Bruised both my knees breaking them in as I was trying to avoid a motorist making a left turn in front of me. They feel alot like the 26" Hookworms by Maxxis.

Cool! I love the tread on the sidewalls! If they came in red I'd get some for my Le Tour project or if they came in blue I'd get them for the courtesy of Ken Gray Le Tour III project.
I rode my Gatorskins for the first time in rain today. They were fine everywhere except on the metal bridges - way more squirrly than the Armadillos I ran for years or the Schwalbe Marathons I had on the Continental.

Both Rapid Transit locations have them in multiple colors

I've been using them on my commuter and the ride is really nice compared to the tires they replaced. The look is cool too. I have the white (currently mostly grey, but rain cleans them up). Dual compound version is already black down the middle if you're worried about looking dirty. Folding bead makes them a little lighter then others out there. Available here on special with free tubes included.
