DELIVERED!!!A large bundle of free fleece goodies was dropped off at the following bike shops:
Blue City Cycles
Boulevard Bikes
Comrade Cycles
Rapid Transit (I & II)
Roscoe Village
Uptown Bikes
Working Bikes
Lee Diamond will also get another bundle for his architectural tours.
West Town Bikes received a HUGE batch a few weeks ago.
They were a hit at Chicago Critical Mass (CCM) and The Chainlink Party last week. Additional free fleece goodies will be distributed at December's CCM ride or the next Open Craft Night.
There will be at least one more fleece cutting party this season so if you have a suggestion for other bike shop drops, let me know.

Have you looked into gofundme.com? It might be a way for some of us who don't see you regularly but who do appreciate what you do to chip in a bit.

And will you be at the Winter Bike to Work Rally? Maybe you can collect a few bucks there.

Yes! :) In the meantime, I can accept PayPal and Dwolla donations (TheDerailleur@gmail.com). PayPal has a personal ---> gift option so all of the funds go to me. Dwolla is an alternative to PayPal and their fees seem reasonable.
Checks/money orders can go to me here:

I'm at all Chicago Critical Mass rides so you can donate to me in person on the last Friday of every month at Daley Plaza from 5 to 6 p.m. I'm easy to find since I wear a chef's apron covered in pin-back buttons.
I also host Open Craft Night on Tuesdays from 5-9 p.m. at my place in McKinley Park (see above for address).

The event listing says that the balaclavas at that event are "courtesy of The Chainlink and Bike Winter" so that's not me. If you see me there and want to hand me a donation, cool, but it's not my place to solicit donations at that event.
