The Chainlink

Hey All,
I have a Trek aluminum road bike with a break in one of the chain stays. Is it possible to weld a cracked aluminum frame?
If so, could anyone recommend a welder in Chicago?
Thanks for your help!

Call John Lamonica At Butler Street Foundry, it is in Bridgeport. I used to work for him. He has the equipment. Otherwise your gonna have to pay top dollar for a bicycle person the the rig to do it. It almost may be not worth it. If it were steel it would be a little more simple. I figure one of the guys at the foundry is gonna charge $45.
