Fiks:Reflective Rim Stripes

Hey chainlink long time lurker finally post something useful.

Kickstarter page that has made over 7000 dollars with a 1000 dollar goal.

25 dollars gets you a pair of tape good for both sides on each tire. Personalized reflective stickers and name on the site.

I don't work for these guys or anything, but it was a cool idea. I saw the revolights, but for 200 dollars just not worth it.

What happened to reflective stripes on your tire? Are they no longer sufficient? European brands tend to have them on all their non-racing tires.

A more general observation: Both rims and reflective sidewall of tires tend to get so dirty when riding daily in Chicago that I don't find reflective features all that useful.

my mavic rims have a pretty decent reflection to them. My alex rims on my commuter even when clean don't really have anything.
