That is slick! We moved a washer/dryer set to our house with a trailer. The hitch was not happy, but it survived.

I also moved a bed by bike....with a passenger.
Pictures bad as it is a screenshot from a video my friend posted on facebook. Not really sure how to get the video off of facebook.

the original post reminds me of the teardrop trailer trend but for bikes instead of for cars.

just returned from a week of camping on lake fontana and white water surfing on the nantahala river in north carolina... what an adventure. picked up a kamp-rite tent cot for the trip before being informed that we would have to carry everything on our boats/boards for island camping the tail end of the journey. wound up slinging a hammock inserted in a sleeping bag which worked great but not so convenient after injuring my right foot in a foot entrapment during the whitewater running. the tent cot will be perfect for the trike or the new surf rack on the beach cruiser but would love to do a similar conversion like they did for the ebay product... thanks for the link!

I know I'm late to the game here, but note that that enterprising teen did his cross country trip on a frickin' single speed coaster brake bike. With a brutally unyielding steel saddle. And no water bottle, toe clips, or any of the other "conveniences" we softies are used to these days. Way to go, bro.
