I saw this on BoingBoing yesterday, and then to read this crap by John McCarron is just one big slap in the face to cyclists, the environment and humanity, really.  The way this stuff still gets published in widely circulated newspapers should be criminal.  

 

Near the bottom, "LordMike"'s comment made me chuckle, though:  "Why, it's a Republican dream world!!  Can't wait until they get rid of the EPA and we can return to this polluted paradise.  Nothing like chunky air to aid nutrition!"

Wait a minute....the government hired 100 photographers to take pictures?

I bet people would have sent them in for free if they asked.
