Chicago-Madison Tour

I missed this tour last year. Needless to say, I couldn't make it.

Any takers or ideas? I'd plan on Milwaukee and then Madison but I'd like directions for the western route to Madison Wisconsin.....The eastern route adds a few miles but pretty much keeps me safe from most traffic hazards due to the trail system.

IPP west to Great Western Trail

Somehow make the 35 miles to Rockford, IL from Sycamore, IL

Pecatonia Prarie Path to Jane Addams

Badger State to Capital City

Otherwise I'd like a specific breakdown of your route!

I'm in Evanston - I was planning on a 70 mile ride with envane x this weekend. Care to join us?

we haven't figured that out yet - but a pre-ride meeting is definitely in order, in my opinion. However envane x is really master of ceremonies... I like biking up to maybe Great Lakes and then coming back down the Skokie Valley to the NBT, but going all the way down to the trailhead. I'm going back via Lawrence and California from that point. By the way - there is definitely a celebrity coming with us. Or he is to me. He's ridden across America and accomplished other atheletic feats in recent years.

If you are short on time, because you just have to drink Minhas brewed beer, Baumgartners is the right place for you. They also serve Berghoff beer, which is brewed by Minhas ;)
