Bikes, and the UN takeover of the US
One of the Colorado candidates for Governor is warning potential constituents about how the BCycle program in Denver will bring about the UN taking over the city.
The article's here. Doesn't really make any more sense than the above description, but the text does provide the rather graceful and fanciful leaps of logic needed to enforce the status quo car culture over those awful people who care about environmental issues.

I lose more and more respect for reporters everyday. How hard would it be to include a link to the document that the mayor signed so that readers can make a judgement for themselves? The whole UN issue reminds me of the "Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs" which makes it impossible for US voters to legalize cannabis.

Man, how does creating a cleaner air negate peoples rights. And doesn't the word "development" in the article lead one to believe there is business to be gained from this project. I thought a true American would welcome free enterprise. I am suing the Tea Party !
