Thank you!

BTW, to anyone who's not sure, the quickest and easiest way to pick out the ADA cars is to compare windows on the cars as you look along the side of the train. Windows on the ADA cars are taller than on other cars. Also, each ADA car has a large area with no windows next to the door (bathroom space). I've gotten so used to doing this that I sometimes forget that everyone hasn't learned this handy trick.

Duppie 13.5185km said:

Regarding question 5 and 6, it would be good if there was a "don't know" N/A option.

I have no idea about the number of ADA cars on the trains I take, not even the ones I take regularly without a bike.

Thanks again. Just giving it one more bump. If you haven't responded about your Metra experiences, please do. I'll be closing the poll soon.

Since it is so early in the a.m. not many user conflicts until you get to around the north shore, Glencoe-Wilmette. It seems to get busy with people with suitcases and baby strollers all the time. I ride either a 24" BMX crusier or a non-fixed single speed with a drop bar. Every now and then some one will hook my bars on a stroller or a suitcase. They need to some day get hang hooks that mount to the wall or a recessed wheel mount on the floor. I have these on my pickup truck bed. Work good holding the wheels from moving around, take up hardly any space. On nights inbound to the city, the train gets packed by the time you get to Ravinia. I deal with it and try to be civil. Only have had to leave the train once due to a drunken rider. He got sick and tossed by my bike at the Hubard Woods stop. The smell in the car was god awful. It added another 20 miles to my commute but it was my choice since I got off at Wilmette. The other passengers had to deal with it, they had it worse than me!
Done.

Does anyone else have experience with taking their bikes on Metra who hasn't answered the survey at the top of this thread? I'd love to have your response included in the survey. Thanks!
