The Chainlink

Alright, so my bike got stolen two days ago securely locked with an on-guard u-lock.  It's likely that they used a cordless electric saw to cut through it, although nothing was left to verify.  My question is, is there any lock that can't be cut by one of these saws? I know a lot of people use the heavy duty chain locks, but are these any more secure?

Sorry to hear about your bike.  I'm using a Krytonite Evolution Series 4 LS (14mm shackle), Kryptonite New York Fahgettaboudit U-lock (18mm shackle), and a KryptoFlex 1007 Looped Cable 7' (10mm braided cable).  Both wheels are locked to the frame, frame to the post, and the cable just makes it look like there's a mess of stuff to cut through for my bike. I usually throw the cable through my rack, rear wheel, frame, and/or anyone else's wheel/frame that don't have their wheels locked up.  Total for all three is ~$120.  Next up is the Kryptonite M-18WL...long lock with 18mm shackle.
