Very interesting essay - an artist asked friends to draw a picture of a bicycle  (two minute time frame) and he collected hundreds of drawings.  Then he rendered computerized images of "bicycles" from those drawings - bikes with the chains connecting both front and back wheels, tires on one side of the frame.
