Permalink Reply by joe on October 25, 2009 at 3:30pm I have been riding all year round for more than 10 years and I always find new and interesting ways to go about riding in the cold wet weather. For instance these past couple of months I have found that riding with my umbrella in one hand and the bar controls in the other have been challenging but very rewarding. I arrive at my destination much drier and happier than I had been in the past.

Permalink Reply by cutifly on October 25, 2009 at 10:06pm Fall is my favorite time to ride! A chill in the air! The bike lane starts to empty our. I can pull on my wool over the knee socks. Bike winter fashion is way better than bike summer.
Whoah, I think I saw you the other day! were you riding down Clark street around Belmont on Saturday? That was absolutely crazy but it was super cool you can balance all that at once!

Permalink Reply by Liz W. Durham on October 26, 2009 at 12:11pm i was surprised to find how awesome it feels to ride in 40-degree weather. i think i need some kind of rain shorts to cover the tops of my thighs, though. it's not great to spend the next couple hours with wet jean legs.
