Anyone own a Pake C'Mute?

I am looking at a Pake C'Mute for my next build. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of info on the net about them and they are rarely seen in shops. If anyone out there owns one and could send me some feedback it would be much appreciated.

If you were on a budget (which I am), would you say the Space Horse is worth the couple extra hundred bucks over the C'Mute?

Depends on what you are looking for in the bike. I think the internal routing, details and finish quality are worth it. It is also available as a complete bike an buying a complete is always less expensive than building.

I am looking to build as a SS/FG for now. I like the idea of being able to reconfigure down the line. I am looking for a poor man's Rivendell Quickbeam.

I've been jonesing for a C'Mute or Space Horse since I had two winter commuting bikes stolen this year. I haven't checked a C'Mute in person, but the price seems right. I did check out the Space Horse at Bike Lane, and the details are REALLY nice on that frameset, probably a notch or two nicer than the C'Mute, but I dono. Bike Lane has a sale right now on all their stuff, it will be all I can do to stop myself from getting one by the end of the month.
