The Chainlink

Add your bike wisdom to the Chicago map in 10 words or fewer!

The New York Times is showing up our local papers by providing maps of cities across the country and inviting people to add markers with brief words of advice for other people riding their bikes. I think it's a great idea and know that Chainlinkers could fill this map with many more words of wisdom.

Link to the map is here.

I give it a day before racist epithets some of us have never heard uttered in our lifetimes start showing up on that map.

(edit-- submissions appear to be cued for approval... thank god)

Too cool.  Added three, maybe one will show up :)

Awesome. :)

Two of my comments made it on, although I put my Riverwalk comment on the wrong part of the river walk.  D'oh.  I'm the gray one at Milwaukee/North/Damen, and the grey on on the wrong part of the riverwalk.

For some reason they didn't publish my, "resist urge to assault pedestrians in bike lane" I put on the south side of the Kinzie bike lane, where it passes the merch mart.

ha!!!!
