I bike for many reasons. Sitting in the car is just so boring. To meet other bikers, to eat anything I want and not worry about getting fat, it feels so damn good and I am addicted to riding. You do not see that many fat-assed bikers, unless your in Wisconsin!!! Moooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like to explore new places, and I have no set limits. I can ride as long as I want and not worry about having to fill up. Most of all it makes me feel alive. Ask anyone that rides. Even a bad day of rding is better than a good day of work.
I bike when poverty got me. Iahd to give up the volkswagons. they sat in my driveway and yard until i got in trouble with te landlord for unregsitered vehicles, and had to give htem up totally. I started biknig yearround andlove it like flying, but the winters were so cold eventually i invented my bike canopy and now im dreaming in the winter stillness, instead of shivering.
Whenever someone asks me why I bike(vs. drive), I can only ask, why the hell not?
right now i bike out of spite.
