What do you ride?
Since I am just joining and we are all basically new here. I was just wondering what everyone rides here. I always recognize the bike before the person, just wondering if I saw some of you guys around on the road.
I ride the following, depending on my mood...
-Specialized 2009 Langster Road Bike with flip flop hub (fixed), carbon fiber fork and seat post
-Nirve Pyro Cruiser with Nexus Planetary Gear: 3 Gears..
-Custom Lowrider Stretch Cruiser with Apehanger bars and banana seat (Single Coaster Gear)

I have several different bikes and more toward the fall I will ride a different bike everyday.
I am defiatly not one Dimensional in terms of types of bikes and enjoy creating color schemes.

Hi. I'm a new member too. Met two (2) very, very nice women (Julie & Leah) at the Harper College Winter Swap meet last week, and was encourage to join.
However, to stay on topic: I live in north Highland Park, IL and am an active member of Velo Club Roubaix, Inc. bike team. We ride road, ATB & Cyclocross, with an emphasis on road for 9 months out of the year. I have several bikes that I ride, and I try to switch off so I don't hurt any of their feelings. They are, in order of acquisition, earliest to latest: Merlin ExtraLight, Colnago C-50HP, Look 585, BMC SLC01, DeRosa Protos and most recently, Wilier Cento Uno 2009.
Do you ever get up north?

At least until we're out of this seasons's ice age, I'm riding a TATI custom steel cyclocross frame. It's fixed using a White Industries ENO hub and paired to a Campagnolo Chorus crank. The tires are Schwalbe Marathon Winter -- with a whopping 240 studs, which allows even clumsy folks like me to traverse Oak Street Beach!
It currently has unwrapped carbon bars to remind me not to crash.

Very cool ride! It's ironic with all the orange I'm seeing lately. Last weekend I finally got around to redoing my single speed bike to match an orange flite saddle I've had in a box forever. It turned out pretty cool. Inspired by Merckx and the Molteni team for sure. I need to post a picture :)

Those bikes are really nice. I'm jealous, but how do you get the top bike on and off the hanger? Do you have a ladder or something else?
