The Chainlink

1985 Schwinn Le Tour Luxe Touring, 25 inch frame (center to top). The Le Tour Luxe is rare model, as it was only made for 3 years and the 1985 model was best of them. Made with Columbus Tenax frame tubing and catelever brakes, this lightweight road bike is great for commuting or taking on a long-distance camping trip. The bike has some surface rust in places (please see pics), but nothing that effects the integrety of the frame. I purchased it used from a bike store less than a year ago, so all components work great and it is ready to ride!
It has mostly original components with many Suntour/Dia Compe parts. I replaced the front brakes with new, old stock Dia Compe 981 front brakes (period-correct) that work like new, and work great.

Hello,

Do you know if this would be a good fit for 6 foot 1 person?

Also, what area are you in?

Thanks,

Jeff

Greetings,

It probably would fit you, but everyone has different proportions and preferences.  I'm 6'0 with longish legs and it fits me fine.  I'm in the Bucktown/Wicker Park area--if you're near the area, you can try it out.

Also, Rivendell has some good guidelines on measuring your PBH to determine a frame size that fits:
