Three Solemn Loony Brothers (CBES)

Details

Description

We will meet at TEN (10) in the morning at the Clark and Lake station and take Blue Line "L" train to Forest Park, then ride from there to LunaR Brewing in Villa Park. As LunaR does not have kitchen and doesn't serve food on premises, please have a nice breakfast prior to leaving home, and don't forget some snacks, just in case, because we will only rehydrate there at LunaR.

Next—to Warrenville, where Two Brothers Brewing is located, mostly via well-beaten IPP. Have a lunch there.

Then—to Naperville's Solemn Oath (please note: they don't accept cash!) for more brewskies (and meeting up with ImBIBE members*).

Board Metra train at Route 59 back to Chicago.

Trains leave to the Union Station at 4:28, 6:28, 8:28 p.m. One-way ticket: $6.25.

* You do not have mingle with the ImBIBE people, but if you'd like to, you don't have to be an ImBIBE member to join the meet-up. Admission is $25 which includes three S.O. beers and a tour of their brewery.

Thanks everyone who joined the ride, and those who wanted to but, for whatever reason, didn't.

As always, special thanks to Alex and Will for their navigational skills.

I'm looking forward for the next ride! :)

Not going to be able to make it due to change in family plans. Maybe next time.

Not sure about the state of Illinois, but in Chicago cyclists must ride in single line.

Isn't there a a difference between one experienced rider and a group of 10-20 riders? 10-20 riders can command a lane that one rider cannot.

I'd guess around 2 - 2:30.
