The ride will take in some of the lovely paths and roads around Fullersburg Woods, Graue Mill and a stop at York Tavern to raise a pint or two. Come and bring whatever era bike that you prefer to ride. There is no age or country of origin requirement. Arrive early and picnic on the grounds at the hall. Weather forecast says 90 degrees.

Looks like cold beer will be necessary.

Many congratulations to the survivors of this weekend's Lake Pepin 3 Speed TourBBC delegates faced 30 MPH headwinds on Friday, murderous inclines on Saturday, and pissin'-down rains on Sunday. Others were cruelly cut down by the Norovirus making this the BBC's 1st Annual Puke-n-Pedal!

But not all experiences were disasterous as one of our company (who's initials are Alan Lloyd) met a fetching candidate for Bike Wife and Jeannette, the even more fetching companion of Ed Skelly, provided numerous and helpful extractions as our most felicitous and comely Sag-Wagoneer!  Many, many, many thanks!!!!!

Now let us turn our attention towards and warm our expectations to the (hopefully) less windy, arduous, and plague-ridden Manor & Meadow Tour on 10 June 2012!!!!

Afternoon tea sounds very attractive to this Brit who now complains from his base near Touhy/Ridge, W. Rogers Park....

good wishes
