Imagine a quieter time, a time when just a short distance outside the city tranquility could be found. Join us, Sunday, June 10, 2012, noon'ish to experience an afternoon of country gentility at Mayslake Hall in Oak Brook, Illinois.
The ride will take in some of the lovely paths and roads around Fullersburg Woods, Graue Mill and a stop at York Tavern to raise a pint or two. Come and bring whatever era bike that you prefer to ride. There is no age or country of origin requirement. Arrive early and picnic on the grounds at the hall. Please bear in mind that on Dupage County Forest Preserve land alcoholic beverages are prohibited without exception.
The ride will last approximately three hours and return to Mayslake Hall for afternoon tea at 4:00 PM. To cap off the afternoon the raffle drawing will be held for the Ace of Clubs bike. All proceeds from ticket sales go directly to Working Bikes Cooperative, Chicago.

Comment by SlyRed on June 6, 2012 at 1:06pm Partly cloudy I can deal with. The forecast keeps creeping up one degree at a time every day when I check. If this keeps up it'll be predicted to be 95F by Sunday.
