Sunday Ride | Bronzeville Gallery Tour

Led by arts, culture, and sustainability advocate Mecca Brooks, this tour celebrates Bronzeville as home to some of Chicago's most interesting collections of art across the Diaspora. The legacy of displaying art in Bronzeville includes not only the inherited collections of DuSable Museum and the South Side Community Arts Center but also smaller champions such as Faie Afrikan Art . Riders will tour several galleries through the Bronzeville area including the recently created Bronzeville Artists Lofts’, anchored by Gallery Guichard, which has heightened the profile of both artists and emerging spaces on the South Side.

Rides start and end at the Bronzeville Community Garden at 51st and Calumet.

Stop by the Bronzeville BikeBox before or after the ride, across the street from the Garden! We will be selling refurbished bikes every Sunday from 2-7p.
