MAN, is my Irish up! Just in time too - OPEN STREETS OAK FOREST tomorrow ( http://tinyurl.com/fleadh ). Active Trans tent will be up at Waverly & Cicero, just north of the train viaduct - a bunch of area clubs will be with us to do sign ups for their rides and new members. THE DEAL: sign up on the spot as a new member of ActiveTrans OR for any of the clubs or their rides, and I'll give you a ride on Cicero on my FreeLoader. (If you're over 200 lbs, you're riding me/someone smaller than 200 lbs.) Blarney!

Does anyone know how clear the Tinley Creek trail is this time of year?

Steve is correct. Turn left off the trail just before you get to Palos Community Hospital (on your left side). Follow the road onto 123rd Street, then take it west for the half-mile or so past the Palos Park Metra Station. Plush Horse is on the southeast corner of the intersection you reach just after crossing over Southwest Highway (be careful of the cars pulling out of the near-blind merge from the right).
Once inside, you can pet the Plush Horse. Riding it is frowned upon by the staff.

Tinley Creek Trail is paved, curvy, wooded, and extensive, stretching from Midlothian through Oak Forest to Orland and Palos Heights. Passes within half mile of the Plush Horse. Mmmm....ice cream.
