Description

Are the suburbs too far?
Are Metra conductors too cranky?
Is getting up before 11:00am on a weekend too early?
Is beer good but not, you know, that good?

Then come on the lazy brewpub ride!

We will meet at Revolution Tap Room, 3340 N. Kedzie Ave., at 12:15 on Sunday, October 20th. Early birds be warned the tap room does not open until noon. Give your bartenders a chance to be lazy, too. We will leave around 1:15 and head to:

Haymarket 737 W Randolph St

Goose Island 1800 N Clybourn Ave

and finish at
Half Acre Tap Room 4257 N Lincoln Ave

It’s not riding 70 miles for rare artisanal beer that makes unicorns cry but you will be home in time to watch The Walking Dead.

Revolution and Half Acre tap rooms do not have food. Haymarket and Goose Island have delicious food! The pace will be relaxed and will incorporate river paths in some areas.

Serge-Have fun on vacation!

Wolf-Pup- Have fun in Chicago!

Davo-I'm trying to hit at least the 1st three spots, the group will decide if we make it to 4.

Sarah- I'm working on the route but its hard to map out because of the river paths and lazy shortcuts. Feel free to post here to find out where we are at if you want to meet up!

Ive been trying to do something like this for a while as well. Unfortunately I always start at Half Acre (right by my place) but never get farther than that after a couple pints. It usually ends up as a BBQ with lots of growlers. Hope your tour is a better experience.
