Description

This is the third-annual Easter Sunday bike ride to the Botanic Gardens.

We'll meet near Beans and Bagels on Rockwell at 9:30 for a 10 am departure, then ride to the North Branch trail on up to the Botanic Gardens. We may take the Green Bay Trail on the return trip. Mileage ends up being around 40 miles, round trip, mostly on paved trails.

This will be a no-drop ride. If you want to be festive, I'd be happy to affix some balloon bunny ears to your helmet.

We will return to Chicago and eat a late lunch/early dinner.

Great Ride, Jami- thanks for letting us tag along with you. Really enjoyed the ride and it was the perfect day for it!

Jami, you got your wish!!! Should be a beautiful day for a ride. I won't be able to attend. I have a family lunch/dinner that I am afraid time-wise is going to clash with our return time. Can I get a rain check on bunny ears? ha!

Yay! Tornados. Not a claim, an adventure!

We're going regardless of the rain.  The precipitation will determine the level of adventure involved in the ride!  Melanie and Robert have claimed to have ridden through tornados...maybe we'll get one of those.

I hope that it does improve.  I seem to have really bad luck with scheduling events as of late.
