Description
Last Fridays, leaves after 6pm.
THE monthly gathering of bicyclists making their presence known downtown since 1997. Slowly winds a dozen miles or more. Radically inclusive, thousands attend in good weather.
Daley Plaza, 50 W Washington. Under the Picasso (giant rusty bird), at Dearborn, SW of State&Lake train stop, Randolph exit from LFT.

The rain seemed to spoiled the event. That and a lot of slinky effect broke up the mass into different groups. Right around Western Brown line it seemed to all go awry. I sat under the tracks there waiting for the rain to cease and saw at least 3 different groups go by. All in all still a good time though. Words of the day are baselayer and raingear.
I vote for the next circle up to be at a bigger intersection instead of Clark and Addison.

A route flyer observing "National Literacy Month" (actually a copy of last September's flyer) has been posted in the ChicagoCriticalMass.org flyer exchange since June. Ends at Foster.
