Rolling right by my place, yay southside!

Just came here to post that my friend on Wolcott reports it's now fine between 35th and 39th.

Andrew, considering the suddenly brisk weather, I would not be surprised if the Little Village portion gets skipped, leaving about 10 miles.

I guess I could have posted the Google maps link and saved you the work...

h', Wolcott has been paved! Say what cha will about Rahm but he sure does get the streets resurfaced fast...

I've plotted your route on Google Maps
Just under 15 miles.  I did so in part to evaluate skater-friendliness.  I'm eagerly watching here for updates about the pavement (or route changes), though the distance alone probably means I'll use a bike instead.

The reason I chose Wolcott is to pass a friend and long-time masser's house who lives in the 3800 S. block; would be great if we could slowly bless all of our blocks with CCM bike dust over the years -- I can check in with him to get the pavement status.

Wolcott westside headed south is rough grooved.

Damen is sewer work.

Thanks, Chuck.  Guess we'll play it by ear. My new front window cam caught my own block being resurfaced yesterday morning-- took less than an hour so I think there's a good chance for fresh pavement by Friday eve.  We're just talking about rough grooving/resurfacing right?

h', Yep Wolcott is tore up heading South so is Damen. You're best bet is Seely to 37th head east over to Damen. Damen is fine South of 37th.
