"While you're shopping, bombs are dropping."

Anyone leaning such way, DO INFLUENCE the ride down Michigan Avenue (or State?), possibly two or three times, maybe from the river (Wacker) to at Chicago or Division. We didn't last year, which I felt was a disservice to the mass and to shoppers. It may be slow, crowded, and honky, but we have a duty.

Some notes from the forum elsewhere:

Thread for discussion of this Friday's upcoming "Black Friday" Critical Mass ride.
Typically being the Friday after Thanksgiving, this ride is often observed by promoting freedom from consumerism.

Friday 2010.11.26
Buy Nothing Day (since 1992). International celebration of consumer awareness and simple living. Yearly. Day after Thanksgiving.
Very real global day of protest against the corporate brainwashing which leads to the un-sustainable Western hyper-consumerist culture. Includes anti-commercials and events at the world's largest malls. Intentionally occurs on the biggest shopping day of the year. See the website for more info.
