Description

A fun discussion thread has spawned a social event. Come for an evening of Celtic music, food and drink at Celtic Knot in downtown Evanston. It's a weekly Celtic jam session led by Gus Friedlander, a musical wiz on many different stringed instruments (and the banjo player in the video that started the discussion thread above).

If you want to sit together as a group, please contact me at least a day in advance so we have a reservation for the proper number. Otherwise, just come.

Comment by Anne Alt on January 30, 2013 at 12:39pm: Actually, I got a ride to the red line, but I took that all the way to 95th, then a bus - truly an epic journey. No onboard jazz trumpeters, but there was a goofy guy dancing on the train for a while. That was some very offbeat entertainment. ;)
