Boulevard Lakefront Tour - A Four Star Throwback Ride

In honor of Active Trans' 30th Anniversary, Four Star will be taking a break so we can bring back one of our most beloved events – The Boulevard Lakefront Tour (BLT) on Sunday, August 23. Riders can choose from four rides and revisit some of the original BLT routes, which started in 1989 as the first major fundraising event for the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation. The reminiscing will continue at our post ride festival with music, food and a throwback apparel contest. Don’t miss out on this truly special Active Trans event.

Explore the city, choose the distance: a 14, 28, 36 or 63 mile route. This year we're traveling to the northwest side. Not sure about riding on streets with traffic? Participants of the 14-mile route can also sign up for Safe City Cycling and learn how to ride confidently and safely on city streets. Join us at the post-ride festival - for lunch, music, beer and biking commraderie!
