Description

Winter Cycling Season is here!

Come out for a cozy morning talk about winter cycling basics at Rapid Transit south, 1305 S. Halsted.

Arrive any time after 9:30 for coffee and bagels.

At 10:00 our hosts Chris and Justyna will lead a discussion of the nuts and bolts of successful cold-weather cycling, covering such frequent winter cycling topics as bicycle choice, accessory, clothing and gear choice, and basic maintenance. Bring your own questions and feel free to share your own valuable experience with others!

At 11:30, those interested can head out to the UIC athletic field and satisfy their curiosity about riding with studded tires. The super-fun Surly Pugsley will also be ready and waiting for anyone who wants to give it a whirl.

Thanks to our friends at Rapid Transit for opening up their shop to benefit the cycling community!
