11:15 AM: Urban Bicycle Design: Student Projects

Carl, Kevin, and Henry present the results of their class in which student teams develop urban-bicycle-specific concepts.

12:00 PM: Bike Winter Basics

Martin Hazard and Lauren Sailor, Chicago Bike Winter Co-Chairs
Martin and Lauren will discuss and demonstrate techniques for extending your biking through the winter.

12:45 PM: Local Frame builders: Hand Built Bicycle Frames

Local frame builders will showcase hand built bicycle frames and to talk about several topics specific to frame building.

1:15 PM: A Presentation on the Painting of Bicycles: Preparation,Paint, and Technique

UV is a local professional bicycle powder coating specialist. This discussion will include: how to properly strip your bike, how to prepare your bike for painting, and the benefits and disadvantages of various paint products.
