Description

*** IT'S ON ***

Come one, come all to the greatest task of all: giving back!

You guys are so awesome, and I really don't need to say much about this event. But I want to start with a huge thank you THANK YOU thank you all so much for your support thus far! You have shown up, helped out, yelled in the streets and gave up your own time, talents, Saturday mornings and even your own money on top of all of that!

Wow! Chicago, you have impressed me beyond measure.

So let's do it again!

On May 28, bikes will be washed once again and our beneficiary shall be the Connections for Abused Women and their Children, a non-profit organization based in Humboldt Park.

The CAWC is committed to ending domestic violence. More at their website http://www.cawc.org.

I will be handing out flyers and hopefully giving out spoke cards with the hotline number on them (we have permission, just need someone to help make the cards).

The Assistant Development Director is very excited about this, and they will be sending the word out via their facebook and twitter accounts! And they may send along staff members to say hi or help with general outreach!

OKAY. So. Let's. Go!!
