Just in case: the best place for cheering would probably be here, on the west side of the LSD, next to the underpass which will provide you a direct route to the beach house at 57th Street.

Any of you gals and guys want to get close to the finish line to cheer up fellow chainlinkers (at least two that I know about will be running, besides myself). I know, you'll have to be there approximately 15 min before 9 a.m., so I can not insist . . . :)

I'll be riding down to the meeting point from Lakeview. I'm probably ok with either Metra or riding back depending how I'm feeling. There's a chance I may see a friend who lives in Homewood and take Metra back later.

We'll make the start point for this the beach house at 57th Drive. That'll be an easy trip over for Serge from where he's ending his half marathon and it's pretty close to where people who may be driving in can park. Since the train is the Metra Electric, it stops right at 57th street and there is plenty of free non-permit parking to be had on the surrounding streets in case any drives with their bikes versus riding to the starting point. As I mentioned, I'll ride back on bike if anyone wants to do that, if not I'll just take the train back with everyone else. Why don't we shoot for 10:00 AM meeting up. Anyone needs to get ahold of me, my number is three-one-two nine-thirty-three sixty-one-eleven.

I like that option better than the initial one that was spit out by Google maps. More scenic and less stress is always better in my book. Thanks for the idea Kevin.
