4th Annual Lope on to Lombard to Loll among the Lilacs

Wake up and smell the flowers with the fourth annual ride to the Lombard's Lilacia Park. Join us for a bike path trek to one of the premier floral displays in the Midwest if not the country. Due to the recent warm spell it is expected that the lilacs will be in full bloom by mid April so I have scheduled the ride earler than usual. The ride will be almost all on the Illinois Prairie Path and the Great Western Trail. Lunch will be available at several different local estabishments which we can decide by group consensus. Please note remote start location at the Forest Park Blue Line station. Free parking is available next to the Cook County Courthouse off of First Avenue in Maywood which will be a secondary start point. Event is cosponsored by the Chicago Cycling Club
