Description

Cool weather sees many bikes put away until spring, but not ours.  Join British Bicycles of Chicago as we host the 2011 Bonfire Tweed Ride.

The route will leisurely take us from the north to south sides, stopping to enjoy autumnal urban beauty while dusk approaches. Warm yourself by a cheery bonfire with friends to herald the onset of winter.

Break out your flannel, corduroy, tweed or other autumn wear and join us.

Or maybe take the Philips instead?

Would a *trailer* be helpful for burn-ables?

Logs would help.  I am bringing bungees and cargo nets to help secure them.  Alan 's truckload is very generous, but he also makes a Guy Fawkes effigy every year.

Is everyone attending this ride required to bring a log?

Wow, you all sure are nice.
I'll do my best. And I adore tweed. Gosh...
Okay, hope to work like Cinderella so that I can go to the ball.

If not, would love to catch you all at another event.

Thanks!

Don't rely solely on me, but I think this is where the bonfire is: http://www.bubblydynamics.com/

I wonder if there is any way we can get an address for the actual bonfire, if we may not be able to hop on the ride?
Or to be able to meet at a stopping point (if there is such a point), somewhere along the way?
Unfortunately, I have a lot of study to tend to, but this sounds so wonderful that it saddens me that I might miss the event in total; hoping for a piece of cheese, instead of the whole block.

If not, some other time.

Cheers!
