Just a few thoughts for those of you that did not participate on the crawl in previous years.
  1. You don't have to be an avid cyclist to complete the route. Almost all of the riders in the past two years have been casual riders that spent very little time on a bike prior to the crawl. We even have one rider that had already seen his 80th birthday so don't be intimidated.
  2. Despite the name "Biking the Burbs for Beers", we would discourage anyone from over indulging. The ride is all about getting out, getting moving, having some fun along with a few cold ones. We encourage moderate drinking, heavy tipping and lots of fun. All in all it is a great way to spend a Saturday.
  3. We are not raising any money, nor dedicating ourselves to any mission nor trying to achieve some personal fitness level. We just want to see if we can ride a bike and drink some beers.
